Keeping children safe while playing is a priority. Especially since a child is a demanding customer. Children run, jump and climb while playing. Such madness can very often result in a fall or even an injury. That's why a shock-absorbing mat for the playground is a necessity. Thanks to its properties, it significantly increases the safety of children. It is very important that on playgrounds the surface in critical places, especially near climbing equipment, swings and other equipment, allows for safe play. Easy installation is a definite advantage of WS Play® grass protection mats
No special tools or skills are required to lay the surface on a playground or outdoor gym. All you need are gloves for handling and arranging the mats, a knife or scissors to cut them to the required shape and a rubber hammer for hammering in the pegs. The mats can be easily cut to the desired shapes to match the existing one playground or outdoor gym. The mats can be installed on both flat surfaces and slopes. Before starting work, clean the surface on which the grass protection mats are to be placed and cut the grass short or sow new grass. If the mats are to be laid on soft, sandy or muddy terrain, we recommend using a leveling mesh. In the case of an uneven surface with visible depressions, the area should be leveled by filling the gaps with soil.
Dimensions of grass protection mats
WS Play® grass protection mats have dimensions of 1.5 m x 1 m and a thickness of 22-23 mm. To make the most of the ordered material, plan the surface layout in advance, which will save money and avoid unnecessary cutting of the material. Thanks to their compact dimensions and the ability to easily cut to the desired shape, the mats can be placed on a newly constructed playground or outdoor gym, but they will also work perfectly on an already developed area.

The body that certifies our products is the Attestation and Certification Research Center OBAC sp. z o.o.
- WS Play® grass protection mats in 2018 rated positively in terms of hygiene for use as a safe surface for playgrounds. The hygienic certificate (PZH certificate) was issued by an independent institution - the Department of Environmental Toxicology at the Medical University of Gdańsk. At the moment, according to the information issued by National Institute of Public Health - Polish Research Institute, WS Play® mats do not belong to the group of products subject to certification.
