We associate the Playground with pleasant spending of free time outdoors, in beautiful, sunny weather. The playground has colorful carousels, swings and comfortable benches from which you can watch children playing happily. However, the Playground also has certain responsibilities for us - adults. It must be, above all, a SAFE place for the health and life of children.
Safe
playgrounds are regulated by the General Product Safety Directive (2001/95/EC). The rule is that all producers, importers and distributors are obliged to introduce only safe products to the market. Whether this is actually the case can be proven, among others: by the fact of production in accordance with applicable standards. In relation to playground equipment and surfaces, these will be the PN-EN 1176 and PN-EN 1177 standards, respectively.

We strongly encourage our clients, both institutions and companies commissioning the construction or renovation of playgrounds, as well as construction companies, to read the content of the guide.Safe Playground - a guide for administrators and owners" issued by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection by David Yearley (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents - RoSPA)
The right of every child to play is guaranteed by the convention adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on November 20, 1989. Article 31 of the convention states that the child's right to rest and free time as well as to participate in play and recreational activities is recognized, thus play is defined as one of the integral elements of childhood. The task of parents and guardians is to help during play and not limit children's right to express themselves. However, it is the duty of everyone who enables play to ensure maximum protection of the health and life of the youngest children.
